Account and Data Deletion

1. How to request deletion

• In the app: open Profile > Delete account and confirm.
• On the web: visit https://cars365.co/delete-account/, enter your registered mobile, verify the SMS code and confirm. Keep the request reference.
• If SMS is unavailable: email contact@cars365.in or call +91 99124 45588. We will verify account ownership before acting. Never send us an OTP or ID photo by email.

2. What we delete

When accepted, account access and sessions end. A resumable server job removes profile details, saved cars, enquiries, location records, loan requests, sell submissions, private sell photos and notification devices; it blocks pending exports. The account record is anonymised. Acceptance starts the job; it does not mean every copy has already been erased.

3. What we keep

We retain limited consent, deletion and security evidence when needed to process requests, prevent abuse or meet legal duties. Showroom sale, tax and vehicle-transfer documents are separate from the app account and may have legal retention periods. Provider backups can persist until their recovery cycle expires; restored data must have deletion reapplied. Contact us about a specific record or legal retention reason.

4. Timing and external copies

Primary-system removal runs as a retryable job; ask us for its status using your reference. We remove existing staff Google Sheets copies manually within 30 days and request/follow up on deletion of information sent to lenders within 30 days. A lender may be legally required to retain its own records, so we cannot promise when it erases them.

5. Withdrawing loan consent

Without deleting your account, email or call us to withdraw loan-sharing consent. After identity verification, we close the loan requests, clear their applicant name and contact mobile, and stop further Sheet writes; consent evidence may remain. Already shared lender or Sheet copies need separate follow-up. Turning off a device permission alone does not withdraw server consent.
